Went to dinner on a Wednesday night which we now know not to ever do again since it's kids eat free night, yikes! We had a free app to redeem on our MVP card so we chose the chicken southwest egg rolls and they were delicious! They also have happy hour all day, every day which is very nice, we enjoyed two mai tais each. I had the yellowfin tuna burger and hubby had the sirloin tips, both were very good, the dipping sauces they came with were to die for, very spicy which I love. We weren't going to get dessert because we were pretty full and changed our minds at the last minute, and boy am I glad we did, we had the fried cheesecake. All I can say is OMG, it was the best dessert I've ever had, it simply must be ordered. From now on when I want to treat myself to something sweet, I'm going to Duffy's and get the fried cheesecake! Our server Montana? was very nice and helpful and our food all came out hot and quite quickly especially considering how packed the place was.

My parents rave about the wings, so the fact I'm not a wing-lover made me nervous I'd enjoy anything at Duffy's. I was wrong! Firstly, there are a lot of amazing dishes on the menu you wouldn't expect from a sports bar, most of which was what I ordered! First, I got fresh-made guacamole which was amazing. The first time I was there, I ordered a gorgonzola salad which was fresh, tasty, and surprisingly filling. The second time, I ordered tofu curry on rice which was so delicious! I can't believe I can get decent curry at a sports bar! The before-4pm specials they have for Duffy's members is a steal, so sign up! The two-for-one bottle specials is also a perk! The next time I'm in town, I'll definitely partake in Duffy's again!

Been there many times and it has always been enjoyable. Tonight was horrendous! Service from Anne was incredibly slow and the food was prepared incorrectly. It was not all that busy.

Just discovered this place after moving here from Boston, and I love it! Came on Friday night and played trivia, which was a blast. The staff is friendly and talkative, prices are great, and the customers have been pretty friendly as well.

There is one of the best Bartender here! I have been living in Delray for a while and never stopped by at Duffy's. Decided to come here to have a few drinks. I was surprise that it was a pretty big place. They have a large dining area and a large bar. Anything you ask for they have. Drinks are 2 for 1. Several TVs around the bar and they even had a trivia game going on. Everyone was very well entertained. Music playing throughout the bar too. Food is pretty good. We tried the calamari and we were satisfied! Everyone working here seems to be happy and interacting with customers. It was a fun night.

Took forever to get our food. I went for their lunch specials which are decent at a decent price but the service was so slow. But I gotta say, the dinners are pretty good. The tuna appetizer was good, the cheeseburgers are really good and the deep fried fish sandwich covered in cornflakes are also really good.

I'm not that big on Sports Bars since they have way too much going on at once! I mean the fact you need to YELL your order to the waiter or waitress is bizarre, I mean you got umpteen televisions showing all different things on each one and people are yelling to hear one another but, enough of that let's just get to the food shall we? Ok, so I went there and decided to get crab cakes (they are my fav) and were they DELICIOUS, scrumptious, mouthwatering OH MY! The waitress we had the first time was very nice and made sure we had everything correct. If you go GET THE CRAB CAKES!!!! You won't be disappointed!!!

Probably the cheapest place around to pound drinks, food ehhh...

The food is pretty average and the place is pretty loud, but the place seems to be a favorite of some friends so I end up here from time to time. Not my first choice, but not so bad either.

Love this upbeat restaurant, great for the whole family. You can bring your kids and they can have fun without being the loudest area in the restaurant...

This is a great sports bar to watch a game. The service is great. (I especially like Lisa..my mug is never empty!), the food is good and when the crowd is into it, lots of fun. To me, an active group of people cheering a big game is almost like being in the ball park. If you dont mind the crowds on game night, this is a great place to hang out.

my favorite sports bar period! the best wings around and an awesome tv setup. good spot to watch ufc events as well.

Some of the best wings in town! Lots of TVs in all directions, always got the game in view. And 2 for 1 drafts can't go wrong!

5 Star Sports Bar. First, I must tell you I am a big fan of the Duffy's corporation altogether. The staff is always friendly, the locations are well run, they make watching sports comfortable and fun, and they offer a great VALUE to their guests. The [free] loyalty program is set up so that you basically get 10% off (you collect points and for every $100 you spend- you get $10 off your bill). Happy Hour is awesome- 2 for 1 drinks from 4pm-close. There are different offers each day of the week too. Bottom line is, they make their customers want to return repeatedly by giving back a little something here and there. The Delray location is probably my favorite one. They have a very friendly staff and perfect set up for watching sports wherever you are seated. Like other locations, the food selection is the best of any other local sports bar chains (although I wish the wings were better). I do like that they have a wide variety and you can actually eat somewhat healthy if you want to. Some of my favorite menu options are... Starters: Dolphin fingers, flat bread w/ chicken, fish tacos (great as a meal too) Main Course: Chinese Chopped Chicken Salad, Grilled Chicken Pita, Veggie Burger (ask for tzaziki sauce on the side instead of mayo), Tuna Burger & the sweet potato fries are yummy We like to come on trivia night, which costs nothing to play, is operated by a very nice & efficient guy, and you can win gift certificates for your next visit. Overall, Duffy's is one of our favorite spots- we know we can have a good time, watch the game, and not spend a fortune.

Love it here. Bar crowd is always fun. Bartenders are very attentive. Descent food. Nice managers. Will return here.

Rude Rude Rude That is all I can say because from the waitress sitting in the booth with us to take the order (who invited her) and when we questioned something the manager came over and said "you must be from the north" (what the heck does that mean) I replied that it was that way at the Boynton location to which he walked away. Stay away from the Delray location and go to Boynton because it is worth it.

First time I'm here on Monday night and they run out Ribs. Waiting forever for our food, the place is clearing out and kitchen still doesn't have it together. Music is so loud you can't talk with shouting, why does management allow this. I'm here for dinner, it's not club- turn the music down. If the food is not here soon think I'll leave for McD's.

Showed up early evening on a Saturday, so the place was just half full. For whatever reason we were seated in a totally empty section without a customer or waiter in sight, and left there unattended for a ridiculous amount of time. The place was full of staff waiting around for customers, but no one even walked by our table. I actually had to get up and approach a group of them to ask if anyone was working our area, and the answer I got was "I'm sure there is!" I returned to my table unimpressed and waited another few minutes while the staff giggled about my attitude, and still no one came over. Left without placing even a drink order after 20 minutes. There are plenty of other food options that provide twice the service with half the staff. The only reason I give them 2 stars rather than 1 is because the manager did try to salvage the situation by offering a free appetizer, but by that time I'd lost my appetite for Duffy's.

    (2)
  • Alicia C.

3.5 is what I give this establishment. Considering the place was mobbed on a Saturday night we had good service, 2 for 1 drink specials and pretty good food. My husband went there as well for UFC fight and was happy with no cover charge and 2 for 1. So by far this is no "dining" experience, but an easy laid back sports bar/grill that's suits your needs for the proper occasion.

I have a new favorite menu item at Duffy's, and it's going to shock you. At this ubiquitous sports bar, my new favorite thing is... A salad. I know. I'm as shocked as you are. The Cobb Salad with Chilled Chicken Breast (crisp greens, avocado, crumbled blue cheese, vine ripe tomato, chopped bacon, hard boiled egg) is great! It's so good, you almost forget that you're eating a salad! Especially when you get the avocado ranch dressing! And even more especially when you go there with a vegetarian and she let you have her bacon!

  • Jayson S.

I love the Duffy's chain first and foremost. This is an old steakhouse chain transformed into a Duffy's. Everything about this place is great except one thing. I don't mean to complain but if I ran this location I would bleach this place from top to bottom at least once a week. It has a certain smell to it. Food Taste : 9 Presentation: 8 Staff : 9 Cleanliness : 5 (bad smell) Overall : 7

I drove 100 miles round trip to eat at this Duffy's! Was it the ribs? The lobster roll? The drink selection? Nope... out of town friend had a long, late night layover, so Duffy's of Delray it was! We got there about an hour before closing and were promptly seated. The inside was very loud (hey, it's a sports bar!) but outside seating is available. We opted for inside as they were so close to closing up for the night. Waters were promptly brought as we perused the menu. We started with the tuna app - barely seared, pepper crusted tuna with a side of sesame noodles. Surprisingly fresh and delicious! Larry S. and Friend opted for the lobster roll. Larry's came with fries and Friend ordered broccoli. The fries were excellent and the broccoli was pathetic, but that's what you get when you order broccoli at a sports bar. I had the blackened Mahi sandwich with a side salad. The salad was actually nice, garnished with croutons and cheese. I opted for avocado ranch dressing and it was delicious. I sampled some of Larry's lobster roll and really enjoyed that as well - huge chunks of lobster with a small amount of mayo holding it all together. Friend had had a lobster roll elsewhere for lunch and said the one from Duffy's was "different, but still very good" The service was fast and friendly, especially given that late hour.

Always a fan of Duffys. Food has improved over the years, both in quality and diversity. Two for one drinks all day, every day and the point system definitely make it a great value play especially on Sundays. Went for the Mayweather fight and had to pay a cover which I think is so dumb, but I understand it helps with freeloaders. My fiancé who has always been a Duffys naysayer enjoyed her Mac & Cheese Burger. I haven't had anything that I've ever disliked. Wings are fine, Korean beef tacos are very good, chimachuria chicken is also really good. Rodeo burger was a go to for a while, and the Cobb Salad is also surprisingly good. Highly recommend Duffys for any sporting event. All Duffys seem to have been recently upgraded, and seem cleaner as well. Only thing I would recommend upgrading at this location would be the size of the televisions.

I am only giving 5 stars because of the service from David the bartender. The girls behind the bar never even acknowledged me. I said for 15 mins until David realized I need service! From there on out he provided excellent service! I have been in the biz for at least 15 years so I know how it goes. But even if they just stopped by and said hey my name is so and so and I'll be right with you it would have worked. Anyways David rocks and it sucks that he's a hard worker and has to spilt his tips with people who don't work as hard as him. If it weren't for him this rating would have been low!!

This really should be 3.5 stars... Duffy's is your grandparents go-to-spot. Literally it's mine.... And hey - if they love it, I'll like it. Luckily the food actually isn't that bad. I always expect the worst and am pleasantly surprised. The mahi mahi is actually pretty good! So are the wings! +++ Also, 2 for 1 drinks and they always have a special! We'll always come back because our grandparents are hooked, but I'm glad Duffy's never disappoints...

Stopped for lunch last week with a co-worker. This was my second visit to a Duffy's. Seemed that their greeter was missing that day and we were finally waived to and seated by our waiter. Brought drinks out and ordered pretty quickly. I had a bacon cheeseburger and fries that was pretty good, the other guy had a Rueben sandwich and wings. He want crazy about the wings but said his sandwich was pretty good. I wasn't overly impressed with anything on either of my visits.

Went here for lunch today with some coworkers and was less than impressed. I ordered chicken tenders and they were ok not great. My side was fries well done and the first batch came under cooked then when I finally got the new ones they were so greasy I didn't want to touch them, plus I was already pretty much done with the chicken. They didn't even offer to compensate me for it and when I said something they adjusted a few dollars. Terrible customer service. Plus the are ever was missing most of the meal leaving much to be desired. It seemed like they just don't care.

I hate giving one star. An experience I hope not to repeat. Absolutely terrible service from Marilyn G, a better word would be appalling. Aside from looking 12 years old, she is clearly not cut out for any "service" industry. Firstly how hard is it to order a margarita without salt? I get one with salt. Takes about 40 min for her to come back to us, where I ask for a margarita as I ordered - without salt. I get an over blended foamy margarita which was hideous. Again she goes missing. I try to order nachos. Nachos come and they appear to be baked? So weird. At this point I'm ravenous and I'll eat anything. She asks how they are and I'm honest - they're not that great, but I'm hungry. I simply stated I was not expecting them to be like this (a small plate with carefully laid round nachos with a blob of sour cream in the middle). To which she replied "so you wanted garbage nachos?" - how rude. I reciprocated with - I don't eat garbage. So when my tab comes I am charged as BOGO for both margaritas - the one I sent back and the replacement. I didn't argue, I wouldn't attempt to drink another one as it was pretty much gross. Duffy's, yes you may survive on the old crowd doing bad karaoke, but bottom line is you have to stop hiring incompetent children as staff. Yes food was sub par, but with such a large menu, I'm sure the nachos didn't reflect the whole menu; as for the margarita, it was foolish of me to think a sports bar could make a decent one - I'll stick with a rum and coke next time.

We come here often because of Elise. We started with her in Deerfield Beach Florida . she has since transfered to Delray Beach and so did we. That says it all.

I do not eat here. Came in with team for a beer. Food is mediocre fried frozen bar food in my opinon. Its good for older Delray community who can't tell fresh food from frozen. They may have some meats that aren't frozen. Its a busy place lots of tvs crowd consists of cemetary village and other 50+ communities. If you come for a game and beer its a fine place to go.

  • JA M.

Great food and awesome place to watch games. Usually have 2-1 beer specials as well, which is never a bad thing. Pretty much everything I've ever had here is good, had a steak last time I went and it was cooked perfectly. Would get 5 stars but the server wasn't exactly super friendly last time I went, was pretty unprofessional in telling us how she hopes were not cheap since every other patron stiffed her on tips. Maybe be nicer?

    (4)
  • Maria C.

Awesome food when you're ready to eat. Great 2 for one specials on Bloody Marys that really hit the spot (even though they have a bean in them, not shrimp). Ordered the artichoke goat cheese flatbread and a cheeseburger with fries. All of it was tasty and well made. Nice comfy booths. Server was friendly as well.

  • Linda G.

We keep giving this restaurant a chance (my husband likes watching sports and the 2 for 1 beers). For me tonight was the last disappointment (no matter who is on TV!). Burgers were flaccid and the truffle fries were cold. When I asked if they could make fresh fries, the very polite waitress said, "sure no problem". Good, right? Another server came back with "new" fries" - the same that we had been served but obviously microwaved to heat them up. The caesar salad was the smallest I have ever been served in a restaurant and had "powdered" cheese on top - nobody but the cheapest joints do that anymore. All in all, very average food and not cheap either.

Overpriced and nothing special. Too many great restaurants in Delray Beach to ever eat there again.

As we drove past other restaurants in the area, we came across this place. The waiter was very friendly and knew the menu however, I wanted ribs and they won't do them with just a rub. I had the combo which came with ribs and wings. I was allowed to choose from the wing sauces as a side sauce for my ribs. I will not be coming back. The ribs were a very small portion and the wings were overcooked. The best part of my order was the side of black beans and rice.

    (1)
  • Brandee S.

All Duffy's restaurants are awesome, including this one. Spacious and nicely decorated, friendly staff and amazing 2 for 1 drinks. I went on a Thursday and had the $9.99 rib dinner, I got fries and corn on the cob to go with it. AMAZING!! Bathroom was clean, and plenty of parking.

    (5)
  • Isaac T.

Friendly service, 2-for-1 drinks (always), and an extensive menu (with decent to average food) is what brings us back time after time. Need a special order? They will probably screw it up. Want an extra dry martini? Nope. They just can't handle that. Although it's a "sports bar" like atmosphere, it's all ages and most people don't seem to notice!

    (3)
  • Deb M.

The smell was so bad I had to leave..... 2nd visit... The manager had asked me to give it a try another try so I did... Smells like urine in this restaurant. The smell is so overwhelming I don't know how anyone can eat

    (1)
  • Eryn M.

This is definitely not my favorite place. The best thing they have going is 2-for-1 drinks. The Delray Beach location smells like dirty mop water in my opinion. The food is fine, the service is OK. It's the cheap drinks that get me there on occasion. Would I take someone from out of town there? No. They do have trivia on Fridays, which is a fun night out with the girls. I'm terrible at trivia, but it's fun to play occasionally.

    (3)

I give it five stars because it has very good food for a sports bar and great friendly staff. Exactly what you would want for a sports bar

Came here on a weekday afternoon while getting my car fixed across the street. When I sat down, the waitress gave me an application to fill out for their card club thing, and told me a bunch of specials for the day such as cheaper prices from 2-4 pm (it was around 3 pm), dinner specials, etc. I filled out the card application and gave it back to her before the food arrived. When I got my check, I asked why the "specials" of the day weren't applied and she said I had to go online and register my card first...but I gave her the card application so I don't even have the info, just an empty useless card. The food was edible but not great...veggies weren't fresh and the seafood was really oily. There's a ton of TV's all around so it's a decent place to hang out, but there are several sports bars nearby that have better food and great happy hour specials that don't require joining some online club. Even with the afternoon deals, I'd rather go to Yardhouse for happy hour.

Yet again another Duffy's and another HORRIBLE experience. Ordered the Waldorf Salad. No gorgonzola cheese. Doused in some terrible raspberry vinaigrette dressing. Barely palatable. For some reason I keep thinking that a different location a different experience but I'm glad to see that the entire chain is horrible through and through.

This place is really hit or miss. They have 2-4-1s all day but that's probably to take your mind off of the fact that you shouldn't be paying for the food. Hopefully you catch them on a good night.

I've been to Duffy's 5 times in the last few weeks b/c I live right up the road. The menu is above average for a restaurant/bar with a nice variety. I'm a healthy eater and enjoy their salads. Good portion sizes and seems fresh. Stay away from the Atomic Wings, the Hot ones are tasty though. The hostess is always friendly, the bartenders are nice and 2 for 1 draft beers are always a plus...I would recommend this place if you want a good meal and a friendly environment. Lots of TV's with all your biggest sports games as well. Go Duffly's! In addition to this make sure you get a Duffy's rewards card which gives you points with every purchase.

Went to Duffy's while visiting family in Boynton Beach Fl. It's a local bar restaurant with good food at an affordable price. It's mostly bar food burgers ,wings, salads, seafood, and don't forget a great bar scene. It's a nice local joint. PS they make excellent wings.

My favorite Duffys location. Due South on tap. Good wings, good salads, & the kids love the chicken tenders. Great selection of draft beer here.

Lunch outside on the porch was great! Beautiful weather & delicious St. Patty's lunch: thinly sliced corned beef (tender & not fatty at all), with cabbage, carrots, potatoes & sourdough bread - a lot of good, basic food. Brought home more than half. Super service. Dog friendly outside dining.

Was in town from Chicago, and met my son for Dinner here. I checked Yelp of course. I thought it was great, a couple of beers, appetizer, and burgers...We too had Marilyn...but a much different experience. She was great, we asked for the shrimp appetizer to not be breaded and she said no problem, and even needed the alcohol on a separate check due to biz expense, no issues . She was a great waitress and am glad she was taking care of our table. I even made a compliment to management on the way out about her great service. Great atmosphere for watching sports, lots of TV's and they all were on and worked. There were families and couples, so good for everyone. Overall we had a great night there, and would not hesitate going back again....

Although I'm definitely not a sports fan (actually loathe team sports), but the food outweighed the whoop-it-up, excessively loud atmosphere at Duffy's. I can ignore the uber-distracting, giant TVs bombarding me with guys sweating and running around in tight pants. It seemed at first to be sensory overload, but once the food came, taste was the prominent sense. The servers were on top of things despite a full house and many special requests from the surrounding tables. No snotty or harried attitudes there. I would not be able to work like them. Service was a solid A. I had opted for the grilled Yellowfin Tuna. blackened is optional, but with Tuna, I am a purist. It was cooked a perfect medium rare, juicy and full of flavor with just the right amount of char. The sides were a good-sized baked potato and fresh, but under seasoned grilled zucchini. My wife went for the Maryland Crab Cakes. She actually makes the best cakes I have ever had, so this would be a good quality check. The must have passed as she had gotten them again on a return trip 4 days later. My mom had opted for the Tenderloin tips. She had raved about them and apparently this was not her first tips experience. Because of this, I tried them on our return visit. The tips were everything my mom had said and more. I couldn't get enough. These were not average, grisly steak trimmings. They were honestly marinated, juicy tenderloin tips. Phenomenal!! My dad got the Caribbean Jerk Chicken as I recall. No complaints from my dad usually means pretty good, plus he isn't a first-timer here either. So, if you can deal with the wait, which, with all of the older clientele, is entertaining at least, and you can tune out or absorb the noise and hubbub inside, give Duffy's a try, and if possible, more than once.

Christine at the bar was attentive and very nice. Lobster tacos were AMAZING, chicken salad with goat cheese was also delicious. 2for 1 drinks, great deal all around!!
